Family-run grounds care,
since 2008.

Northridge started with one truck, a trailer, and a Tuesday route through Westland. Seventeen years later we're still small on purpose — same families on Tuesday mornings, same crew handling them, same standard from April through March.

We don't hand off to subcontractors. We don't sell add-ons you didn't ask for. The person edging your lawn in July is the person clearing your walk in January.

From one truck to a two-season practice.

§ 01 — Origins

2008

Tom Marek starts mowing five lawns on his Tuesday route through Westland. The truck is borrowed from his father-in-law. The trimmer is new.
2012

We add the snow side after a particularly brutal February. Within a season we're keeping the lights on December through March instead of laying off.
2019

Move into the Wayne Road shop. Three trucks, six crew, a small fleet of zero-turns and a pair of skid-steers for the lake-effect lots.
Today

Same five families on the Tuesday route. Eighty percent of our properties have been with us five years or longer.

Show up

Tuesday is Tuesday. If we said 9:00, we mean 9:00. If a storm pushes us, we call you before you wonder.

The person who edges your lawn knows where the sprinkler heads are buried. We don't reset that knowledge every visit.

Every visit gets a quick photo log: before, after, anything we noticed. You see what we saw.

Tom Marek

Founder & Principal

Started Northridge in 2008. Still drives the Tuesday Westland route. Knows every gate width on it.

Sarah Marek

Operations Manager

Runs the schedule, the books, and the storm-response phone tree. Joined in 2012.

Diego Vasquez

Lead — Green Season

Eight seasons with us. Runs the commercial mowing crew and the spring/fall reset rotations.

Mike Reilly

Lead — White Season

Five winters in the saddle. Knows which Costco lot needs salt before the first flake hits.
